Is the 5 Year Worth It? For Most Florida Cars, Yes.
On a sedan, the FEYNLAB® 5 Year starts at $1,500 and the 3 Year at $1,250. That's only $250 more for two extra years of protection, which works out to $300 a year for the 5 Year versus about $417 a year for the 3 Year.

Cost per Year: Where the 5 Year Pulls Ahead
Divide each price by the years it's rated for and the longer coating is the cheaper one per year in every size.

On a sedan, the 5 Year is $250 more than the 3 Year. That $250 buys two more years of rated protection, or $125 for each extra year, while the 3 Year averages about $417 for every year it covers. For an SUV or truck the gap is also $250; for a 3rd-row or oversized vehicle it's $300.
There's a practical side too. A 3 Year that runs out means another prep, another coating and another 24 hours at the shop. The 5 Year pushes that out by two years.
Per-year figures are simple division of today's starting prices by each package's rated term, rounded to the nearest dollar. They aren't a promise of how any one car's coating will wear.

Is a 5 year ceramic coating worth it?
For most cars in Florida, yes. The 5 Year FEYNLAB® Ultra V3 starts at $1,500 for a sedan, only $250 more than the 3 Year at $1,250. Spread over its term that's $300 a year versus about $417 a year, and you get two more years before the car needs to be recoated. It's worth it most if you plan to keep the car past three years or it lives outside in the sun.

What's the difference between a 3 year and a 5 year ceramic coating?
The product and the rated term. Our 3 Year uses FEYNLAB® Ceramic V3 and our 5 Year uses FEYNLAB® Ultra V3, FEYNLAB®'s longest-lasting coating we offer. Both get the same prep, gloss enhancement, Outlaw Detailing warranty and CARFAX registration, and both qualify for FEYNLAB®'s manufacturer warranty on eligible vehicles.
Does a ceramic coating show up on CARFAX?
Yes. Every coating we install is registered on the vehicle's CARFAX report, so a future buyer or dealer can see the paint was professionally protected. That record can help at resale or trade-in.
Does the warranty cover an older car?
The Outlaw Detailing warranty covers every coating we install, on a car of any age. Can you coat over dealer or factory protective film?
Yes. We coat over factory or dealer-installed protective film, so a car that came with film can still be coated. Tell us what's on the vehicle when you request a quote.
How long will my car be at the shop?
Every coated car stays in our shop for 24 hours after the coating goes on so it can cure before it sees sun, rain or sprinklers. We'll give you a drop-off and pickup time when you book.
Is my SUV or truck priced as an SUV or as oversized?

Do I need paint correction before the coating?
