Paint Protection Film (PPF) in Sarasota & Bradenton
Clear film that takes the hit from rock chips and road debris so your paint doesn't. Choose your coverage, and we'll quote it for your vehicle.
A Physical Shield for Your Paint
Paint protection film is a thick, clear urethane film applied to the painted panels you choose. It absorbs the impacts from gravel, sand and road debris that would otherwise chip the paint.
It's the one thing a ceramic coating can't do. A coating is a thin, hard layer that adds gloss, UV and chemical resistance and makes washing easier, but it's far too thin to stop a rock. Film is what you want on the parts of the car that face the road, and the two work well together.
Outlaw Detailing offers PPF, quoted per vehicle. Not sure what you need? Read our ceramic coating vs PPF guide.

Film on the Front, Coating on Everything
The most complete setup is film on the high-impact areas with a FEYNLAB® ceramic coating over the whole vehicle, film included.
The film handles chips. The coating adds gloss and makes the film and the rest of the paint easier to wash and more resistant to staining and UV. Film goes on first, then the coating. We coat over factory and dealer protective film too, and every coated car stays in our shop for 24 hours to cure.

Why Film Makes Sense Here
- Highway miles on I-75 and US-301 behind trucks and work vehicles
- Sand and gravel kicked up on beach and construction roads
- Lovebug season, when the front end takes the worst of it
- New, exotic or high-value cars where one chip is one too many
Looking After Film
- Hand wash with a pH-neutral soap
- Keep pressure-washer spray away from film edges
- Rinse bugs and bird droppings off quickly in Florida heat
- Skip automatic brush washes
- Want it easier to clean? Add a ceramic coating over the film

Paint Protection Film: Questions
Does Outlaw Detailing offer PPF?
Yes. Outlaw Detailing offers paint protection film, from a partial front to full body, quoted per vehicle. Call or text 941-390-6388 for a quote.
How much does PPF cost?
PPF is quoted per vehicle. The price depends on the coverage you pick, the size and shape of the vehicle and the condition of the paint. Text a photo of your vehicle and the coverage you want to 941-390-6388 and we'll get you a quote.
Which PPF coverage should I get?
For most daily drivers, Full Front covers the panels that take the most chips: bumper, hood, front fenders, mirrors and headlights. Add the Track Pack if you drive a lot of highway miles or the car sits low. Choose Full Body for a new, exotic or high-value car you want fully protected.
Does PPF stop rock chips?
That's what it's for. Film is a thick, clear urethane layer that absorbs impacts from gravel and road debris on the panels it covers, so the paint underneath doesn't chip. Panels without film are still exposed.
Can you ceramic coat over PPF?
Yes. Film goes on first, then a FEYNLAB® ceramic coating can go over the film and the rest of the paint. We already coat over factory and dealer protective film. A coating makes film slicker, easier to wash and more resistant to staining.
Do you detail cars that already have PPF?
Yes. We detail film-covered cars, including full-body PPF cars, with washes that are safe for film and its edges. Tell us the car has film when you book.
Where is PPF installed?
At our shop, open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. We'll give you a drop-off and pickup time when you book.
